I was born in Los Realejos - Santa Cruz de Tenerife (Canary Islands) on September 17, 1951 and, for pure coincidence, I came to this world in the house where was born the canary poet Antonio Reyes which for that time my parents had rented. To the age of two years we move to live to a village of the island of Tenerife, place of birth of my mother, called San Miguel de Abona . In this village, of arid landscape, since its weather is one of the driest of the island, my infancy passed. There, in an environment in which the peace and the quiet was breathed and where the nature was contributing more things spirituals that materials, it did that with the pass of the years, was germinating the seed that had to wake the sensibility up in me.

Still today, my mind preserves the photographic flash of the kids running for the streets and the singing of the birds nesting in the trees of the square of the village, as well as my raids close to my dog "Jaruco" and the sound of the harmonica that brought me my uncle when he returned from Venezuela and that I was going with me crossing fields of my grandfathers.

To the age of nine years, for economic questions, we move to the city of La Laguna, university and cultural center of the island of Tenerife.

In this city I did my primary studies in the Escuela Graduada Aneja, passing to do the baccalaureate in the Institute Cabrera Pinto of the same city. My youth was conforming to the passage of time and in the constant analysis to which was submitting my mind, I managed to understand that my way was taken root increasingly with the need to form the feeling of everything that one that for me was meaning something more than a simple material experience. To penetrate into the human and spiritual aspect did that the poetical sense was arising in me spontaneously and that seed planted in my childhood began to give its fruits, being in me the poetry the alive feeling of the expression, without limits, of the soul.

In spite of the fact that the letters were for me a form of expression, I ended registering in the University School of Managerial Studies, where I ended the career of Mercantile Expert in the year 1975.

My interest to the poetry has led me to publish a number of poems in the newspaper " EL DIA ", diary of the province of Santa Cruz de Tenerife.

At present I take the administration of a company dedicated to the import and sale of supplies for the car. The little time that I still have free, I dedicate to writing and is my desire that my poems please you because in them I have put the soul, which is with the only one that I write.
